Description

The XXM650 is a 6.5″ midbass driver from our Xcelsia competition series. This driver has gained significant recognition and widespread adoption among EMMA contestants, from Scandinavia to China, and it’s clear why.

The design of the XXM650 offers distinct advantages. It features a perfectly rigid, cast basket that provides robust support for its diaphragm, which is meticulously crafted from a blend of carbon and glass fibers. Complementing this is a 2″ perfectly ventilated voice coil and a powerful hybrid neo/ferrite magnetic motor system with a copper shorting ring. All these elements combine in unison, contributing to its exceptional performance.

From a sound perspective, the XXM650 transducer excels, particularly in two-way systems. It delivers amazing dynamics while ensuring a full but smooth midbass-to-midrange transition. This driver provides fantastic kickbass and midrange, making it the perfect foundation for the bass response in any high-quality two-way audio setup.
