Description

To achieve our goal of a high-output component system with truly refined sound, we needed a tweeter capable of delivering clean, unfatiguing audio—even at elevated volume levels.

After extensive prototyping, we arrived at the ideal balance between output and sound quality.

At the core of the XUST30W is a soft textile dome paired with a 30mm liquid-cooled voice coil and a powerful neodymium motor. This assembly is precisely positioned within a die-cast aluminum waveguide for optimal performance.

The result is a smooth, detailed tweeter that stays enjoyable and controlled even during high-volume listening sessions.

The XUST30W offers enough SPL performance to keep up with two 6.5″ midrange drivers. When paired with DSP, a higher crossover point is recommended, and 6 or 12 dB slopes can be used depending on installation. Its impressive SPL capability comes from the waveguide design, while the ideal crossover slope depends on whether the tweeter is mounted flush or proud of the surface, as well as the distance between the tweeter, midrange, and listener.
